Creator & Director
Welland Festival brings together the Elland community to explore and experience professional creative health work available in their area. The festival has explored a range of offers and ideas over the years and it became part of Curious Motion’s work in 2023.
In 2024 Curious Motion was a key commission for Calderdale’s Year of Culture, CultureDale, enabling us to offer Welland as a full day and evening event. The festival supported over 400 people to experience and enjoy accessible creative health opportunities, led by experienced professionals, on their doorstep; including workshops, stalls, and performances.
