About Me
I am a freelance dance artist exploring the opportunities dance offers us to connect more deeply to ourselves, others, and the world around us;
I create accessible and welcoming artistic spaces for all people to dance and express themselves. My practice is centred around contemporary dance but often includes conversation, walking, stretching, and ‘kitchen dancing’ too!
I enjoy a portfolio career as a freelance artist alongside my work as Artistic Director/CEO of Curious Motion, a non-profit dance organisation that I co-founded in 2019.
Work
From workshops and one-to-one sessions to performance making and podcasting, my work is varied and bespoke.
I create opportunities that are tailored to the needs and aspirations of those involved, with the primary aim of enhancing a sense of belonging and connection.
I have been working professionally for 20 years leading and facilitating projects across a variety of settings. You can find me in hospitals, community halls, hospices, universities, refugee settings, schools, professional dance spaces, parks - pretty much any setting where dance is possible!
